Imitation suede

Regular care (weekly)
Vacuum clean using low suction to minimise wear from dust particles. Rotate reversible cushions so that wear is evenly distributed, and protect from direct sunlight. Light soil may be removed using a damp soapy cloth and wiping off with a clean wet cloth.

General cleaning
Professional cleaning recommended. Do not remove cushions covers for cleaning or washing even if they have zippers (zips are often only a necessary part of the manufacturing process). Steam clean using hot-water extraction machine. Do not wet filling. Allow to dry thoroughly in shade away from direct heat before re-use. Alternatively, clean using on-site dry cleaning machine. Use only upholstery detergent. Do not wet filling with dry cleaning solvent. Release solvent vapours in well ventilated area. Reapply soil-resistant materials if necessary and allow to dry thoroughly before re-use.

Spot cleaning
Treat spills and stains as soon as possible. Gently scrape off soil or mop liquid from fabric before applying appropriate cleaning agents, following instructions strictly to remove excess residue. Do not saturate the fabric or upholstery filling with water or cleaning liquids. Alternatively, spot-clean using dry cleaning solvent.
WARNING: This fabric has been treated with soil-resistant finish. Do not shampoo clean or apply further treatment.

Pilling
May occur occasionally as a result of normal daily wear and does not indicate faultiness. Fibre pilling can be removed by a battery-operated pilling tool available from most haberdashery stores.
